Kidney Tumor Gene

June 2015

An important link between the Lin28 gene and Wilms Tumor has recently been identified by Dr. Achia Urbach, a senior lecturer at BIU. Wilms Tumor comes about due to the improper development of the kidney during the fetal stage, and is the most common form of kidney cancer in children.

Azrieli Medical School Grant

May 2015

As Â鶹ɫ²¥ University kicks off its 60th anniversary celebrations, the Azrieli Foundation has announced that it will make a $50 million donation to the Â鶹ɫ²¥ School of Medicine in the Galilee, the largest donation ever made by the Foundation and the largest pledge ever received by Â鶹ɫ²¥ University.
